Panathinaikos has agreed to a deal with guard TJ Bray and is currently in talks with Bayern Munich for the acquisition of the 28-year-old player, according to Eurohoops sources.
Bray is expected to be released by Bayern, even though he has one more year left on his current contract, and sign with Panathinaikos. He spent part of the 2020-21 season on loan to Casademont Zaragoza with which he posted an average of 4.8 points and 3.8 assists in four Basketball Champions League contests.
It should be noted that Bray will not be eligible to play in EuroLeague, but he will be cleared to reinforce the Greens in the Greek League.
