Panathinaikos Athens announced that an eighth player of the team tested positive for coronavirus, rising the total COVID-19 cases on the team to eleven (eight players, three staff members).
All Panathinaikos’ team activities have been suspended since last Saturday (6/2) when multiple coronavirus tests came back positive. The Greens’ upcoming EuroLeague games against Zenit St. Petersburg (17/2) and CSKA Moscow (19/2) have been suspended.
Panathinaikos’ squad will undergo new tests this Monday (15/2).
