Sasha Obradovic is seeking to be fully paid his two-year contract with Crvena Zvezda mts and the bonus for capturing the Radivoj Korac Cup, according to Mozzart Sport. The contract signed last summer running through the 2022-23 season was not terminated but remains on the club’s payroll.
The report additionally notes that Obradovic and the Serbian powerhouse will end up in the Euroleague Basketball Dispute Resolution Chamber set up last January to solve disputes between head coaches and teams.
Obradovic, 52, was dismissed in December following a string of poor results. He previously returned to the team he represented as a player in three separate stints after personally buying out his contract with AS Monaco, as pointed out in the update of his relationship with Crvena Zvezda.
Dejan Radonjic since took over replacing him at the helm. The Red-Whites at 7-18 are ranked 17th out of the 18 teams of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
