Coach Andrea Trinchieri and Partizan NIS parted ways in July 2020 as the Italian expert went on to lead Bayern Munich but it seems that the sides didn’t take care of everything between them.
After two seasons together, Trinchieri and Partizan terminated a contract that had one year left on it but the coach hasn’t been satisfied with the way that was handled.
According to Mozzart Sport, Trinchieri’s side has filed a lawsuit against Partizan, asking for the payment of the difference which happened due to interpretations of EuroLeague Basketball’s recommendation to revise the salaries in the last two months of the season.
In addition to that, the lawsuit reportedly also demands the payment of the full current season during which Trinchieri has been coaching Bayern Munich.
