Fenerbahce star big man Jan Vesely suffered an ankle injury in the first half the game vs. Barcelona and exited the match, never to return. The Czech forward/center will have an MRI tomorrow that will determine the full extent of the damage, according to Ugur Ozan Sulak.
Vesely, the reigning (2019) EuroLeague MVP, was hurt Barcelona guard Leandro Bolmaro collided with him during a transition play of Fener. He rolled his ankle and was forced to leave the game.
So far in 2020 21, Vesely has been averaging 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 29:21, being instrumental in Fener bouncing back from a 5-10 start to win 15 out of the next 17 games and clinch a playoff spot.
