Real Madrid and Vincent Poirier have agreed to a deal for the remainder of the 2020-21 season, plus three more years, as reported by Jose Luis Sanchez of LaSexta.
The French big man was recently waived by the New York Knicks and will continue the season in Spain with Real in the Liga Endesa, as he will not be eligible to play in the upcoming EuroLeague playoffs, to which the Whites advanced on Thursday with a win over Fenerbahce.
Real has been the frontrunner to sign the French international for the upcoming season, though Gabriel Deck’s departure for the Oklahoma City Thunder creates space for the 27-year-old big man’s signing.
