We admit that the picks of Nick Calathes and Iffe Lunberg didn’t produce the results we wanted in the EuroLeague playoffs openers, but that’s Fantasy for you.
This time, we’ll look at three big men who all belong so Turkish teams: Fenerbahce Beko center Kyle O’Quinn, Anadolu Efes center Sertac Sanli and Fenerbahce forward Danilo Barthel.
O’Quinn may be a fine addition to your Fantasy roster for two main reasons:
- He had a strong performance in Game 1 with 18 PIR points after playing 25:07 (second-most this season in EuroLeague) in light of Jan Vesely’s absence. Fener basically had rotation of eight players (due to COVID-19 and injuries) and O’Quinn with Barthel were their only battleworthy big men. We believe O’Quinn will also stand out in Game 2.
- O’Quinn’s Fantasy price remains really low since it will cost you just 1.09 to acquire him. With the same logic, you can take a look at Barthel costs just 0.89 and played 34 minutes in Game 1 due to the lack of other big men.
Let’s move to Sertac Sanli. He’s been having a quite successful second leg of the regular season playing a lot due to Bryant Dunston’s injury. But even with the latter on board, the Turkish center has been really solid and was actually exceptional in Game 1 vs. Real Madrid, scoring 16 points and registering 19 in Fantasy (plus the win bonus).
Sanli costs 1.50 and you may not want to spend so many credits to get him but he’s definitely a center that’s worthy of a second look.
