Greg Whittington is considering a return to Europe after his stint in the NBA’s Denver Nuggets. Several EuroLeague clubs are showing interest in Whittington, as Eurohoops sources mention.
The versatile forward/big, at 203 cm, is currently an unrestricted free agent, and he also has interest from the NBA. He is prioritizing the NBA options while considering making his EuroLeague debut next year, as well.
Whittington, 28, played for Galatasaray prior to signing with the Nuggets, and he averaged 12.5 points on 48.4% accuracy from beyond the arc, while also adding 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks per game in 11 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
He posted averages of 12.4 points and 4.9 rebounds in the Turkish BSL, where he had an accuracy of %52.8 in three-point shots.
