The New York Knicks have been in advanced negotiations with TD System Baskonia’s Luca Vildoza and only details are left to finalize the deal.
According to Chema de Lucas and Eurohoops sources, the Spanish team will receive two million dollars for the buyout if the sides find an agreement.

Born in 1995, Vildoza is an active member of the Argentinian national team and has been a member of Baskonia since 2016, winning the Spanish Liga Endesa championship in 2020 and getting also the Finals MVP award.
In 2019, he was a member of the Argentinian roster that won the Pan American gold medal in Lima. Vildoza was included in the squad for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup and clinched a silver medal with Argentina which emerged as runners-up to Spain.
This season in 34 EuroLeague games with Baskonia, he averaged 9.1 ppg while shooting 37,2% in threes while dishing 3.8 apg.
