Euroleague Basketball is celebrating the 2021 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four with the launch of its first series of digital collectibles, in collaboration with the EuroLeague Players’ Association and IMG.

The NFT (non-fungible token) collection, which continues Euroleague Basketball’s tradition of innovation on and off the court, has been developed with joint-venture partner IMG. It also marks the competition’s first joint commercial deal with the Euroleague Players’ Association (ELPA), highlighting the importance of players as business partners.
This first collection will be followed by further additions in the future, cementing the presence of European basketball’s elite competition in the digital space for fans all over the world to enjoy.
Roser Queralto, Euroleague Basketball’s Chief Business Officer, said: “It’s important that we use technology to connect with a new generation of fans, and this series of collectibles is another way of enhancing the Final Four experience. This first official collection will be available at f4nft.euroleague.net and will consist of a series of current and historical moments from the vast archive of 21 years of EuroLeague competition, as well as enhanced statistical information about players competing in this weekend’s Final Four.
The launch will be followed in the future with a variety of additional assets, cementing the presence of European basketball’s elite competition in the digital collectible space for fans all over the world to enjoy.
