Zalgiris Kaunas has reached an agreement with forward Niels Giffey, according to reports by Donatas Urbonas.
The 29-year-old German forward is set to get his first experience outside ALBA Berlin, with which he first signed in 2014 and was named BBL champion in 2020.
A two-time NCAA champion with UConn, Giffey posted an average of 8.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 20 minutes in 24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season, including a career-high performance with 22 points against Khimki in a Round 11 matchup in Berlin.
