After reportedly agreeing to a deal with Fenerbahce Beko, Achille Polonara discussed his future with Marco Pagliariccio of the Italian newspaper Corriere Adriatico.
“Fenerbahce is one of the teams that is following me, but I haven’t signed any contract,” he said, “We will see how things go in the coming weeks.”
TD Systems Baskonia GM, Felix Hernandez, recently stated his side’s intention to keep the Italian forward, ranked first in Eurohoops’ Top 10 Free Agents in the power forward position.
Polonara, 29, put up 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearance in a breakout season. At the domestic level, he averaged 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
