Adrien Moerman has finished his stay at Anadolu Efes, he announced Tuesday via a post on Instagram.
“Thank you Istanbul for hosting us during these past 3 years. We left this wonderful country. We met nice people and we will never forget it. We will miss you. May we met again.” he wrote including a hashtag next chapter on his departing post.
Moerman, 32, moved to the Turkish powerhouse in 2018 as a key part of the plan to reach the top of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The goal was achieved at the Final Four held in Cologne, Germany.
The French forward went for 6.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per match in the 2020-21 edition of EuroLeague, his eighth run in Europe’s premier club competition. Domestically, he posted 14.5 points per BSL contest.
He previously played at Barcelona, Darussafaka, Banvit, Limoges, Bilbao, Nancy, Orleans, Nanterre, and Roanne.
