CSKA Moscow has parted ways with center Michael Eric upon the termination of his contract, the club announced Wednesday. The 32-year-old Nigerian big signed a deal with the Army Team back in February, valid through the end of the 2020-21 season.
Eric played in 14 EuroLeague games with CSKA this season, averaging 5.4 points, 3.3 rebounds across 12:22 on the court and made his Final Four debut in Cologne. His numbers went up to 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds in the VTB League, as CSKA lifted the 2021 championship.
