For a long time, it was whispered that Olympiacos will try to sign Dinos Mitoglou during this summer, taking away a free agent from Panathinaikos. As Eurohoops sources confirm, there’s more than interest at this point with Olympiacos having a standing multi-year offer on the table for the Greek forward.
According to “Walla Sports” the offer is a three-year contract. Mitoglou who had a break-out EuroLeague season gained attention also from outside the Greek borders, however, Olympiacos‘ offer is more than respectable.
Meanwhile, the player also wants to talk with Panathinaikos before making any decision, but it’s obvious that there’s a market for him. After the four-year contract that he signed upon his return to Europe from Wake Forest, he is one of the most intriguing free agents in Europe.
In 34 EuroLeague games this year he averaged in just 20 minutes per game 9,3 ppg and 5,4 rpg.
