Following Devin Booker and Ismet Akpinar, Fenerbahce Beko completed the signing of Marial Shayok, the Turkish club announced Monday. The newcomer inked a 1+1 contract. The deal between the two sides was reported by Eurohoops.
Shayok, 25, made a splash in his first season abroad. He joined Frutti Extra Bursaspor in January. His 18.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game over 12 appearances in Turkey’s BSL led him to Fener and the upcoming edition of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
The Canadian guard was selected with the 54th overall pick of the 2019 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He drew four NBA appearances and competed in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats before moving on to Bursaspor.
