Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos Athens have inquired about big man Kostas Antetokounmpo according to Eurohoops sources.
Antetokounmpo, 23, is becoming a free agent after spending the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s now occupied with the Greek national team ahead of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament of Canada and will then evaluate the offers he has in order to decide on his future.
He had 14 points with Greece in a friendly win over Puerto Rico Saturday (20/6).
In 2020-21 Antetokounmpo played 3.7 minutes over 15 NBA games and averaged 0.7 points and 1.3 rebounds.
In the meantime, Panathinaikos is moving to sign forwards Alpha Diallo and Nikos Chougkaz. The first had 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the 2020-21 Greek League with Lavrio while the latter averaged 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds with Ionikos Nikaia.
