Darrun Hilliard is one of the names that’s getting a lot of interest from a number of EuroLeague teams this summer. That’s only natural for a former CSKA Moscow player who has to decide the best possible option between a number of offers.
Zalgiris Kaunas and Bayern Munich are currently the front runners for signing him, however, there’s also interest from AX Armani Exchange Milan, in case the team doesn’t manage to keep Kevin Punter.
However, one very interesting option, because one may underestimate it, is Lokomotiv Kuban. The Russian team which is based in Krasnodar is willing to spend money that some EuroLeague clubs simply can’t afford.
So while they will compete in the 7Days EuroCup next season, for many players Loko seems more like a EuroLeague team in waiting.
With that being said, Hilliard is still examining his options and nothing is finalized yet.
