Thomas Heurtel went through medical exams on Friday to confirm his move to Real Madrid and was cleared despite a recent injury, according to Marca.
Heurtel, 32, is expected to ink a one-year contract with an option for one more season. The Spanish powerhouse was concerned about his injury proven minor after the medicals. However, he can be considered questionable for France in the Olympic Games.
Besides the French point guard, Nigel Williams-Goss and Guerschon Yabusele were also cleared to sign with the Whites. Both newcomers to the squad led by Pablo Laso were reported by Eurohoops.
All three offseason additions are set to become official.
