UNICS Kazan announced that the club has reached an agreement with John Brown who will stay with the team on a two-year contract.
Brown had played in Italy with Virtus Roma, Treviso, and Brindisi before joining UNICS last season and averaging ten points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.1 steals over 55 games split between the VTB League and EuroCup.
He helped the team reach the EuroCup Finals through which they also secured a spot in the 2021-22 EuroLeague campaign. Brown was named to the All-EuroCup Second Team and was the Defensive Player of the Year in VTB.
