Tamir Blatt officially joined ALBA Berlin after the one-year loan to his previous team, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, the German club announced Thursday.
Blatt, 24, inked a three-year contract with ALBA prior to the 2020-21 season but was loaned to the Israeli side he was part of since 2018. He finished his three-year run at Hapoel Jerusalem with 8.8 points, 6.5 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per Basketball Champions League match plus 12.1 points per Winner League contest at the domestic level.
Debuting in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague will highlight his first experience outside Israel for David Blatt’s son.
