Zenit St. Petersburg announced via a farewell message that veteran swingman KC Rivers won’t continue with the team upon the completion of his contract.
Rivers averaged 6.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 22:18 minutes over 37 games of the 2020-21 EuroLeague, helping Zenit reach the playoffs for the first time in the history of the club. He had 8.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 23:23 minutes over VTB League where the Russian team won first place in the regular season.
Prior to Zenit, Rivers played with such teams as Khimki Moscow, Bayern Munich, Panathinaikos, Crvena Zvezda and Real Madrid with which he won the EuroLeague in 2015.
