AS Monaco has extended Rudy Demahis-Ballou’s contract until the end of the 2021-22 season, the team announced Thursday.
Demahis-Ballou, 19, is fresh off a strong performance in the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup helping France capture second place behind the USA. He averaged 5.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
He joined Monaco prior to the 2020-21 season. The youngster recorded 1.3 points and 1.1 assists per 7DAYS EuroCup match as his side captured the title to secure a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague berth. He also logged 2.1 points per Jeep Elite Pro A contest.
Preparing for the 2021-22 edition of EuroLeague, the La Roca Team has already added Paris Lee, Armel Traore, Jerry Boutsiele, Danilo Andjusic, while extending Ibrahima Fall-Faye and Marcos Knight.
