Austin Hollins will be joining the Washington Wizards for the upcoming Summer League as he tries to prove himself and earn a spot on an NBA roster.
Returning to the United States is the player’s primary goal and only then, if it doesn’t pan out, at the end of August, he may examine available options in Europe.
Hollins spent the past two years with Zenit Saint Petersburg, reaching the EuroLeague playoffs this past season and being one step away from the Final Four in Cologne. He averaged 8.2 points in 38 games with 37% on three-pointers, 1.7 rebounds, 1 steal and 0.9 assists.
