Bayern Munich signed veteran center and former EuroLeague champion Othello Hunter for the 2021-22 season, the German club announced.
“I’m looking forward to Bayern and we should definitely become a playoff team again,” Hunter said per Bayern. “But actually my goal is always to reach the Final Four and win championships and trophies. That’s how I’ll go about it with Bayern.”
Hunter, 35, spent the two previous years in Israel with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Last season, he averaged 8.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in 20:56 minutes over 27 games in EuroLeague.
Throughout his career, Hunter also played in EuroLeague for Montepaschi Siena, Olympiacos Piraeus, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow. He won the EuroLeague championship with the latter in 2019.
