AS Monaco has penned Donta Hall to a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday. Eurohoops had reported on his move to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague team.

Hall, 23, joins La Roca Team after a couple of NBA seasons. He appeared in 25 games between the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Orlando Magic. His 2020-21 efforts generated 5.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per match over 13 appearances with the Magic.

“I want to do my job to the best of my abilities, and have a lot of fun in this sport. These are very important for me,” he said, per the press release, “Playing in the Euroleague will be totally different from the NBA. I really want to discover this competition. I will give everything for my team to get results in the Euroleague.”

The powerful big, a former Alabama standout, went undrafted in 2019. Apart from the NBA, he gained pro experience in the G League playing for the Grand Rapids Drive, G League Ignite, and Raptors 905.

He moves his talents across the Atlantic Ocean to join the extremely strong list of Monaco newcomers featuring Leo Westermann, Yakuba Ouattara, Paris Lee, Armel Traore, Jerry Boutsiele, and Danilo Andjusic. The French side also re-signed head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic along with Marcos Knight, Ibrahima Fall-Faye, Rudy Demahis, and Rob Gray.
