As the earlier reports foreshadowed, Anadolu Efes announced that the club has reached a one-year agreement with Filip Petrusev.
After two years at Gonzaga, Petrusev played with Mega Soccerbet his first professional season and he had huge success.
Petrusev (2.11 meters, 21 years old) dominated last season in the ABA League to the tune of 23.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 21 games played. He led the league in scoring and performance index rating (28.0), was second in rebounds and third in blocks. Petrusev also made 1.2 threes per game at a 41.9% success rate.
He also showcased his talents with the Serbian national team in the EuroBasket as well as the Olympic Qualifiers. Petrusev was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers this year as the 50th overall pick and played in the Las Vegas Summer League.
