Shooting guard Sehmus Hazer is expected to become the newest addition on Fenerbahce‘s roster, as the two sides are finalizing a deal, expected to be completed in the coming days, per Eurohoops sources.
The details of the upcoming contract between the two sides, including the duration and buyout clause, are still under negotiation, though it’s expected to be a multi-year deal.
Hazer, 22, spent the 2020-21 season with Turkish side Besiktas in the FIBA Europe Cup and Turkish BSL. He averaged 13 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds across 3 games in Europe Cup, while his numbers went up to 14.7 points, 4 rebounds and 3.9 assists across 28 contests in Turkey.
Hazer began his professional career with Banvit in 2015 and made his first-team debut during the 2017-18 season. This offseason, he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers at the NBA Summer League.
