Ioannis Papapetrou hit the game-winner, made the basket that sent the match to second overtime and overall finished with 41 points as Panathinaikos Athens beat Virtus Bologna 112 – 111 in Day 2 of the MagentaSport Cup preseason tournament.

Papapetrou shot 8-3 from the 3-point line and also contributed eight assists to the win of Panathinaikos. The Greens bounced back from a blowout loss to Crvena Zvezda Saturday (11/9).
Kendrick Perry added 25 points and seven rebounds while Leonidas Kaselakis scored 16 points. Howard Sant-Roos had 15 points plus eight assists.
Awudu Abass (20 points), Marco Belinelli (20 points) and Kevin Hervey (19 points, six assists) stood out for Virtus.
After four losses, ASVEL grabbed its first preseason wins by defeating Olimpia Milano 76 – 63 behind 18 points by Elie Okobo and 15 points by Chris Jones.
NBA superprospect Victor Wembanyama finished the match with nine points (3-5 2-pointers, 1-1 3-pointer) and seven rebounds in 22 minutes.
Malcolm Delaney (11 points) was the only ASVEL player in double figures.
