ALBA Berlin guard Marcus Eriksson will remain sidelined for several weeks after suffering an injury on his left lumbar spine in the EuroLeague opener against Barcelona, the team announced Tuesday.
Eriksson played for 20 minutes in Round 1 and produced 2 points before exiting the game.
In the meantime, Tamir Blatt has recovered from a minor injury he suffered during a German BBL contest against Bonn last Sunday and has returned to team training, ALBA further informed.
ALBA faces LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne at home on Friday for Round 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
