Zalgiris Kaunas announced the addition of veteran EuroLeague guard Zoran Dragic for the rest of the 2021-22 season.
Dragic, 32, comes to Zalgiris in a time of crisis for the Lithuanian team since they have begun this EuroLeague season with a 0 – 7 record. They are the only winless side in the competition.
In 2020-21, Dragic played with Baskonia, averaging 8.5 points in 17:58 minutes over 33 EuroLeague games, plus 8.7 points in 18:35 minutes of 41 Spanish ACB League games.
Dragic also had stints in EuroLeague with Unicaja Malaga, Khimki Moscow, Olimpia Milano and Anadolu Efes. He played 16 NBA games in 2014-2015 with the Phoenix Suns and the Miami Heat, becoming a teammate of his older brother Goran on the former.
