After nearly two months of action, Zalgiris Kaunas is expected to part ways with guard Emmanuel Mudiay, per reports by BasketNews’ Donatas Urbonas.

Mudiay, 25, a former 7th overall pick of the NBA draft, has posted averages of 7.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists across five Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contests, while in his most explosive game with Zalgiris he had 32 points in an overtime win over Dzukija in the LKL.

Per the report, Mudiay is expected to remain in Europe. He will be eligible to sign with another EuroLeague team between Round 16 and 18 (December 16-30), according to the competition’s regulations.

Zalgiris is already making moves with hopes to snap back from a winless presence in the EuroLeague so far in the season, as they have signed Zoran Dragic to a deal late last week. The Kaunas side has also reached a deal with Tai Webster that is expected to be announced, as Urbonas further reports.
