LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has signed swingman Marcos Knight to a short-term deal, as a replacement for injured forward David Lighty, the French club announced Friday.
Knight, 32, arrives at ASVEL from AS Monaco, where he averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 23 7DAYS EuroCup games last season as the team lift the trophy.
Knight led all players in rebounds (9.0 rpg.) in the EuroCup Finals, in which he also averaged 14.0 points and a PIR of 19.0.
He began started his career in Germany, playing for Bike-Cafe Messingschlager Baunach of the third division and has also played for MLP Academics Heidelberg, MHP RIESEN and Science City Jena in Germany, Zaragoza in Spain, and Afyon Belediyespor in Turkey.
Knight will also make his EuroLeague debut with ASVEL this season.
