UNICS Kazan announced that the team has reached an agreement with Janis Timma for the upcoming month, with an option to extend it for the rest of the season.
Timma spent two and a half seasons with Khimki Moscow and was without a contract this season. He played 16 games in the 2020-21 EuroLeague, averaging 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and one steal in 25 minutes.
UNICS sits at the 11th spot in Euroleague with a 4-5 record after beating Panathinaikos while in the VTB League, they top the standings with 6-1.
