Zalgiris forward Regimantas Miniotas will be forced to the sidelines for a considerable time, as he was diagnosed with a broken metacarpal bone on his right hand, the club announced.
Miniotas took a hard fall to the ground in practice, and will now miss at least 5-6 weeks of action with the injury.
Having just joined Zalgiris in November, Miniotas made his EuroLeague debut, averaging 2.0 points and 1.0 rebound in the 4 games he played. He also took the floor three times in the Betsafe-LKL, putting up 6.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
