Fenerbahce BEKO fell on the road in Euroleague against LDLC ASVEL but that wasn’t the main problem for the Turkish squad, as they lost two key players along the way to injuries – Nando De Colo and Jan Vesely.
“According to the first controls made in France; Nando De Colo had a fracture in the second metacarpal bone of his left hand and a ligament injury due to a sprain occurred in the right ankle of Jan Vesely,” Fenerbahce announced.
De Colo has been averaging 12.5 points, 4.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in Euroleague while Vesely followed with 13.4 points, 5.9 boards, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals.
Fenerbahce improved to 7-10 after four wins in five games and it now remains to be seen how they will cope going forward without two players from the starting lineup.
