Olimpia Milano will be signing guard Trey Kell for the rest of the 2021-22 season, as Eurohoops can confirm. Sportando first reported the deal between the Italian powerhouse and the player.
Milano was in search of an addition to its backcourt in light of several injury problems, including the long-term absence of Shavon Shields. Contrary to some reports, the club never intended to make an offer to Breogan wing Dzanan Musa.
Kell will move to Milano to compete in EuroLeague for the first time in his career after making some noise in the Italian League with Varese this season. Over 10 games, he averaged 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 40.5 percent on 4.5 attempts.
