Real Madrid is reported to be bringing forward Gabriel Deck back. According to multiple reports in Spain (the first by Jose Luis Sanchez), Deck is signing a contract for two and a half seasons to return to the Blancos after nine months.
Deck was waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder on January 4 after averaging 2.6 points in 8.0 minutes over seven games in 2021-22. The Argentinian player had joined the Thunder last April after parting ways with Real Madrid following a three-year stint with the Spanish powerhouse.
In his last run with Real before joining the Thunder, Deck averaged 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in EuroLeague. While he didn’t manage to make an impact in his first NBA stint, he was often a key player of Real with an important two-way contribution that was often praised by Madrid coach Pablo Laso.
