Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman was ejected with two technical fouls three minutes into the second half of the EuroLeague game of his team against Barcelona. A rematch of the 2021 championship game that Efes won.
During his exit from the court and while he was on his way to the locker room, Ataman stalled and addressed the crowd – that was applauding his ejection. He turned his face to fans and looked like he was shouting “I won the cup” at them. A reference to last season’s Final between his team and Barca.
