The Spanish League game between Valencia and FC Barcelona has been postponed after Valencia’s demand due to COVID cases, however, Barcelona turned out to also have COVID-related issues.
As the club announced Nikola Mirotic tested positive in an antigen test last Friday, January 14, and a PCR test on Saturday confirmed the initial result.
The player remains at home in a relatively good health condition according to the press release and it remains to be seen when he will be back in action.
The EuroLeague quarantine for patience without symptoms recently dropped to seven days, provided that they are able to produce negative test results.
In this time frame, Mirotic will miss the upcoming EuroLeague road game against UNICS Kazan.
