Zalgiris Kaunas announced that the team has received confirmation about the COVID-19 cases and that there are three positive players – Arturas Milaknis, Tai Webster and Paulius Jankunas.

Zalgiris received confirmation on COVID-19 cases – Arturas Milaknis, Tai Webster and Paulius Jankunas tested positive.
As Zalgiris was preparing for King Mindaugas Cup game against CBet Jonava and upcoming EuroLeague road game in Istanbul, the precautionary testing was done for all the team on Monday.
After receiving positive results, additional tests were done for all the team on Tuesday. It showed positive cases for Milaknis, Webster and Jankunas.
Other Zalgiris players’ tests came back negative.
According to EuroLeague’s COVID-19 safety protocols, confirmed by respective Lithuanian institutions, vaccinated team members who receive a negative test result do not need to isolate.
Zalgiris will play King Mindaugas Cup quarter-finals game against CBet Jonava on Tuesday and will travel to Istanbul the next day.
