Roughly five months after suffering a right ankle ligaments injury during the VTB League Super Cup, Shabazz Napier has returned to team practice with Zenit St. Petersburg Thursday.
Zenit acquired the American guard after Kevin Pangos left the team to join the Cleveland Cavaliers this past summer, though his injury in the pre-season kept him off the court long term.

There’s no fixed timetable for his EuroLeague debut yet, though it looks like it won’t be long before he returns to action to reinforce Zenit’s efforts. The Russian club is currently placed fifth in the EuroLeague standings, with a 12-6 record.
