Panathinaikos announced the acquisition of Alexandros Samodurov with a contract until the summer of 2028. Born in 2005, Samodurov will join Panathinaikos in the summer and his contract includes NBA outs since he is considered a prospect that can make the jump to the other side of the Atlantic.

The main reason I chose Panathinaikos is the presence of Dimitris Diamantidis and Frangkiskos Alvertis in the team. The way they approached me as well as the plan presented to me by the people of Panathinaikos”, the young forward stated.
Alexandros Samodurov was born in Thessaloniki, he is 2.09m tall and can play also in the center position. He is probably the most intriguing prospect in Greece since Giannis Antetokounmpo and he has been already profiled by the Eurohoops Scouting service.
