Olimpia Milano announced that Dinos Mitoglou tested positive on March 4th during an anti-doping control following the Euroleague game against Panathinaikos.
“Having learned that the athlete Dinos Mitoglou was found positive during an anti-doping control administered last March 4 after the EuroLeague game against Panathinaikos Athens, Olimpia Milano has taken note of the precautionary suspension of the player and will hold any other evaluation as soon as it will have all the elements, necessary to clarify the episode, available,” the club’s announcement read.
Mitoglou played one more Euroleague and two more Italian league games after March 4th. He was then sidelined for the past tow Euroleague games but played during the weekend in the Italian League against Varese, scoring 14 points.
