Panathinaikos OPAP Athens has signed Peyton Siva to a deal for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign, the club announced Thursday.
Siva, 31, played with ALBA Berlin for five years before moving on to the NBL and the Sky Sport Breakers. He counted 43 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 39 in the 7DAYS EuroCup with the German club prior to moving to the New Zealand League. In 23 NBL games in 2021-22, the American point guard averaged 11.8 points, 4.6 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per contest.
Siva was named the EuroCup Top Scorer in 2019 and has led ALBA two to domestic league titles in 2020 and 2021. He is set to make his Greek Basket League debut with Panathinaikos.
