Johnathan Motley was one of Lokomotiv Kuban’s leaders in the EuroCup and it seems that he is ready to make the jump to the EuroLeague.
The US import who averaged 21.2 points in nine EuroCup games with 63% efficiency on two-pointers and 33% accuracy on three-pointers, plus 7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 blocks per game is already on Fenerbahce’s list and there’s interest also from Olympiacos, per Eurohoops sources.
The 27-year-old big man also averaged 18.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in the VTB United League with Loko.
Fenerbahce is expected to have big changes in their roster, while Olympiacos is also in need of a boost in the front line, especially with captain Giorgos Printezis expected to retire.
While it’s still early and there’s no offer yet to the player from either team, it’s obvious that Motley’s case will be one of the most interesting to follow in the summer market.
