Italian mastermind Maurizio Gherardini will remain part of Fenerbahce‘s management for the next two seasons, as it was officially announced today,
Per the press release: “An agreement was reached with two valuable names of the administrative team of our Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team, and at the same time, the job descriptions were redefined.
Accordingly, Maurizio Gherardini, who has been working as the “General Manager” in our Men’s Basketball Branch since 2014 and has a significant share in the success of our branch in this process, will continue his duty as “Fenerbahçe Basketball Operations General Director” for two years as of July 1, 2022.
Derya Yannier, who joined the Fenerbahçe Family in the summer of 2021 and has been serving as the Assistant Men’s Basketball General Manager in our branch since that date, will serve as the “Fenerbahçe Men’s Basketball Branch General Manager” as of July 1, 2022.
We hope that this structure, which we believe will carry the stable structure of our Men’s Basketball Branch even further, will be beneficial for our Club and our esteemed managers”.
