Kevin Pangos signed with CSKA but never arrived in Moscow, as club president Andrey Vatutin explained to Eurohoops. However, on paper, he remains a player of CSKA Moscow and the same applies also to German forward Johannes Voigtmann, Russian Joel Bolomboy, Lithuanian Marius Grigonis, and Serb Nikola Milutinov.
All those names have appeared as targets of other EuroLeague teams, however, so far their contract with CSKA remains valid and the Russian club has received a buy-out for every member of the roster, including coach Dimitris Itoudis who moved to Fenerbahce.
Especially for Pangos, since there was an early report about him joining Milan, it was long rumored that he was a priority for Italian champions AX Armani Olimpia Milan, which at the moment doesn’t confirm anything about the possible transfer.
The point is that no move has been made from the side of the Italian club toward CSKA and it remains to be seen how things will end up.
Meanwhile, Milan already announced the addition of Brandon Davies, and the next move which is expected to be confirmed officially is the signing of Italian guard Stefano Tonut.
