Josh Nebo’s name was connected to Maccabi Tel Aviv in recent reports and the Eurohoops sources confirm a deal between the two sides.
Nebo will join Maccabi and his salary will amount to 800,000 dollars which is double the money he got at Zalgiris for his first Euroleague season. The 24-year-old returns to Israel where he started off his career at Hapoel Eilat.
Thanks to a very solid debut run in EuroLeague, Nebo was eyed by several clubs including back-to-back champions Anadolu Efes.
After bringing legend David Blatt as a consultant and hiring Oded Kattash as head coach, Maccabi has been quite active in the market, signing Darrun Hilliard, Bonzie Colson, Alex Poythress, and Austin Hollins.
