Barcelona and Tomas Satorasnky have officially reunited with a four-year deal, valid through the end of the 2025-26 season, the club officially announced Monday, confirming prior reports.

Per Barcelona’s announcement:

Barça and Tomas Satoransky have reached an agreement for the shooting guard to join the Club for the next four seasons, until 30 June 2026. The 30-year-old returns to the Palau Blaugrana after a successful spell with the team between 2014 and 2016.

Satoransky has played the last seasons in the NBA, 2016 to 2022. The Czech has made his mark in the best league in the world, even though last season he represented three different teams. ‘Sato’ made a total of 388 appearances in the North American league with an average of 7 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 22 minutes per game.

The shooting guard was at the Washington Wizards between 2016 and 2019 and the second half of last season, playing 232 games. Between 2019 and 2021 he was at the Chicago Bulls with the 2019/20 campaign his best in stats: 10 points, 4 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 29 minutes per game.

Satoransky began the 2021/22 season at New Orleans before moving to Portland in February being traded immediately to San Antonio and, after canceling his contract, he returned to Washington to average 19 minutes per game.

“I know that I have unfinished business with you. One day I want to lift a trophy with you,” said Satoransky in the summer of 2016 before leaving for the NBA. Now he has the chance in his second spell at the Club where he made 150 appearances between 2014 and 2016, winning the Super Cup and two Catalan Leagues.
